Selection System Project Presentation
This presentation reported the design and testing processes of a selection system for an entry level Labor & Delivery Nurse for Sharp HealthCare. The proposed mixed-method multiple hurdle system produces the high-quality selection decisions at a low cost. Selection measures included in the battery consisted of a resume checklist, personality self report, structured interview, reference survey, and work sample. Newly developed assessments were tested and selection criteria were established according to organizational values and performance requirements.
